Welcome to Canton City Schools Digital Academy! If you are a student at Digital Academy, you will embark on a new and innovative journey in education. Digital Academy offers a unique online educational curriculum. We offer over 80 full-year and semester courses for students in grades 7-12. Our highly qualified staff is committed to providing a quality educational experience to students of diverse needs and backgrounds.
We are proud of the fact that each course is fully aligned to Ohio Academic Content Standards. Middle School students are required to take the Ohio Achievement Test and High School students must take the Ohio Graduation Tests as part of their graduation requirement. Our teachers are certified in the areas that they teach, and our staff is committed to meeting the individual needs of students.
Our school offers a variety of online programs, such as, but not limited to, Jefferson County Virtual Learning Academy, Plato, Study Island, Florida Virtual Learning and RosettaStone. A few of the great features of our program are, onsite one-on-one tutoring, small group instruction and hands-on learning opportunities. In addition, we offer field trips, career planning and leadership training.
One of our major goals is to continue to assist Canton City Schools District in raising its graduation rate. One of the most rewarding experiences for our staff is to witness our students walk across the stage to receive their high school diplomas regardless of all life challenges. For the past two consecutive years, Digital Academy has increased the number of students who graduate from high school.
